The dates are set for the 2007 Winnebago Rally. The dates are August 3, 4 & 5, 2007.
The Winnebago Rally takes place on the waterways of Lake Winnebago and the Wolf River near Winneconne, WI.
The rally is FREE and open to all responsible boaters - no matter what size, brand or style of boat you have. Cruisers and Powerboats, Runabouts and Fishing Boats, If it floats, can sustain 25mph and you enjoy the company of other responsible boaters, you are welcome in the Winnebago Rally!
The Winnebago Rally is a 3 day event. It starts with arival from 3PM to 9PM and entertainment by "Michael Murphy and the MOB," on Friday evening from 6PM until 10PM. On Saturday, registration for the Rally and Optional Poker Run begins around 8AM and we try and leave the Rally grounds for our first stop at 10AM. We cruise from location to location until 4PM when we all meet up at "The Weed Beds," on lake Poygan for socialization and aerial photos.

Then it's back to the Rally "Beach Head," for music by "Main Street," a corn roast, the Poker Run payout and Raffles / Giveaways. On Sunday we take an extended cruise to Strieches, just South of Oshkosh, which is a local hot spot for boaters to anchor and relax on the knee deep, sand bottomed western shore of Lake Winnebago. It's not unusual to see over 200 boats there on any given Weekend.

Friends of the Fox Annual Meeting
The Friends of the Fox is planning the Annual Meeting event for Saturday, May 19, 2007 at Appleton Lock #3.
We are coordinating with Appleton, the Fox River Navigation System Authority, CR Meyer Construction, and others to commemorate the completion of the re-building of the four Appleton Locks. Governor Doyle has been invited.
This event also recognizes the Appleton Sesquicentennial this year. More information will be posted on the Friends of the Fox website www.friendsofthefox.org soon.
